The model favored UAB to win, and the call landed.

UAB's got this one looking pretty good at 78 percent to win. The Blazers are getting a healthy nine and a half point cushion from Vegas, and the betting market is backing that line, so the sharps are clearly comfortable with the home team here. UAB's got the better squad talent-wise according to the ratings, though we are getting to that point in the season where things can get a little weird. Monroe's got their shot at 22 percent, but they're gonna need to play a clean game to pull off the upset.
